Ice Cream. Before large-scale mechanical refrigeration, ice cream was very difficult to make. It was made with a mixture of salt, sugar and cream and then cooled in wooden ice chests and was decidedly a luxury. Lenzi said in the ad: "May be had almost every day, Ice Cream."
