The dramatic history of America is explored through this two-volume CD-ROM set for Macintosh and Windows. Hundreds of photographs, more than 400 original documents, and 100 video clips combine to chronicle the story of the country from the early days of exploration to the presidential election of 1992. Subjects covered include the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the building of the Panama Canal, the Depression, the Sixties, elections, foreign affairs, African Americans, Native Americans, and technology. The program features a chronology of almost 500 entries of major events in Americanhistory.
